More recommended viewing - this movie, “Philadelphia”, probably is one of the more “mainstream” and well known movies about people living with AIDS, but that doesn’t make it any less powerful. Tom Hanks gives a fantastic performance as a man dying of the disease, as does Denzel Washington as his lawyer.
